Through the making and appreciation of art, it is possible to overcome barriers relating to status, stigma and stereotypes.

The aim of this project is to connect people from all walks of life, using drawing.

The same set of drawing instructions have been given to all; art teachers and students from primary through to university level, prison residents and staff, among others, have been invited to respond in their own way.

Shedding the labels stuck on by society, those involved are to be treated purely as artists, and united in a shared artistic purpose.

Displaying the drawings alongside one another, each is granted equal worth.

The drawings stand as a celebration of difference, whilst also emphasising our shared humanity at a time where there can be too great an emphasis on what divides as opposed to connects us.
